I wrote this on an internet article i read about emma watson and wether she was a good role model or not.
"I think (from a 16 yo's perspective) that emma is great. What are kids (girls especially) supposed to think when they see women they look up to (conciously or not like paris hilton) doing all of this stuff? they're going to think it's ok for them as well and thats why we have such high levels of binge drinking.
Remember the deal with size zero? its the same thing. All these celebrities went crazy anorexic so normal girls felt the pressure to be skinny. I like to think that i'm pretty real but even i feel self-concious. I'm a sie 10 but i still feel self-concious, especially for the swimming carnival this friday (arg)
It's so refreshing to see smart girls who have an actual head on their shoulders being role models. Teenagers are insecure enough by ourselves- we don't need celebrities adding to it."
Enjoy bee- cause i know your the only one to possibly read this.
